Located in 9 km North West of Motobu Peninsula lies a small island of Ie, where Oshiro, SENDAN’s owner and chef, was born and raised.
Oshiro ventured out into the world of cookery, and went to the UK, and opened Yanbaru Japanese Restaurant near Baker Street in London.
25 years later in 2007, Oshiro returned from London to Okinawa and opened SENDAN restaurant.
Oshiro’s life’s mission is to bring you the best of Okinawan cuisine with local produce such as Ie beef.
Natural Forest on the estate
The estate extends to 2000 square meters of Okinawan forestry where guests can take leisurely strolls, and enjoy the nature.
